HDPE
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), is a well-liked and adaptable polymer that has been widely used in a variety of sectors because of its special set of qualities. Petroleum is the source of HDPE, a family of polyethene polymers. A basic hydrocarbon called ethylene is polymerized to create this thermoplastic polymer.
Because of its excellent strength-to-density ratio, HDPE is a popular option for a wide range of applications. Its long chains and little branching are part of its molecular structure, which also accounts for its exceptional endurance and tensile power.
Application
It’s used in food wrapping material, jerricans, carboys, picnic ware, home and kitchenware, chemical barrels, carrying bags, toys,3-D printing filament plastic surgery etc.
Types:
FILMS:
A wide range of applications can benefit from the versatility and widespread use of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) films. Their hardness, moisture resistance, and chemical stability are well-known attributes.
In agriculture, silage bags, mulching films, and greenhouse coverings are made of HDPE film.
Because of their flexibility and strength, they are also used in the creation of liners, bags, and wrapping materials.
PIPES:
HDPE pipes are a popular option for a variety of pipeline applications because they are strong, resistant to corrosion, and have great flow properties.
The corrosion and abrasion resistance of HDPE pipes makes them a popular choice for water distribution systems. Both natural gas and other gasses can be transported using them.
BLOW MOLDING:
Melted plastic is shaped into hollow shapes by HDPE blow molding. One factor in HDPE’s superior impact resistance is its large molecular weight.
Home cleaning goods, drinks, and personal care items are all packaged in bottles made of HDPE blow molding. HDPE blow molding is widely used in the production of large industrial containers and barrels.
INJECTION MOLDING:
With great consistency and accuracy, HDPE injection molding enables the production of complex and elaborate plastic items.
CAPS AND CLOSURES:
Because of its strength, resilience to chemicals, and longevity, HDPE is a commonly used material for caps and closures.
Storage & Packing:
5 Kg Bags, Palletized or 1,000 Kg Jumbo Bags
